Introduction: There has been a lot of chatter in the shelter world recently about not only placing dogs who resource guard, but also a strong push to discard and discontinue altogether testing dogs for resource guarding thresholds. In this talk I will take a closer look at the resource guarding dog and how this low threshold manifests itself.
