In 1996, Gail Fisher's school had 18 trainers teaching pet training, competitive obedience, agility and flyball. All followed the "Volhard Motivational Method," about which Gail had co-authored two award-winning books and had presented camps and seminars for 20 years. Then, Gail attended a clicker training seminar that changed her life. She began a "crossover" journey that transformed her dog training and personal relationships. Gail will share her personal experiences -- from learning new skills, eliminating ingrained habits, facing skepticism and even ridicule, to convincing her students, clients and trainers and ultimately having to cut connections with some. Gail will present a blueprint for changing a training school, club, or organization.
